A Chat, a Render, and a Sale Announcement!

It’s been a busy month, but I’ve gotten halfway through the first draft of my latest novel, The Kindness of Killbots, and its protagonist Nito is currently in a whole mess of trouble. Looks like my unofficial NaNoWriMo may be spent finishing it up.

I’ve also been continuing to play around with 3D rendering, and I recently made another one of my characters who may appear in a future novel himself. Minnow is an orc private investigator in Sil City — short for Yggradsil, the World Tree — and if people assume he’s nothing but a dumb brute, that suits him just fine. In a twisted city untouched by the sun, there’s always work, even if it hardly pays, whether he’s searching for a lost puppy with three heads, a kidnapped elvish starlet, or just a pair of shoes that’ll last him longer than a week.
